Jordan Veatch-Goffi, the founder of Doce Vida Fitness Inc., comes from a long tradition of tennis. Her father, Carlos Goffi, was a pro player in the 1970's, coached John McEnroe and is the founder of Nike's Tournament Tough Tennis Camps. Her brother, Josh Goffi, was the number one player for Clemson and toured the pro circuit after graduating from Clemson. After two years as the women's assistant coach at Arizona State University, Josh is now the assistant men's coach at Duke. Jordan recalls a childhood that was fully immersed in all things tennis. The entire family ran Tournament Tough every summer. Jordan helped run operations from ages 12-18 and she was fortunate to meet many amazing people from around the world who came to the camp each year.
It was at the tennis camp that she learned first-hand how to successfully run a business. Youth from all over the world flocked to Tournament Tough because it was well-known for its quality. The ideas and principles she learned while working at the camp are definitely applied to the daily operations here at Doce Vida Fitness Inc. Work hard, be consistent, be progressive and have fun!
