It's official, women's professional soccer is back! Since suspending operations in 2003, the league formerly named WUSA(Women's United Soccer Association)is on goal and ready for play. The league, now called the WPS, Women's Professional Soccer kicks off March 1 with pre-season play. April 4 marks the first day of the regular season. The league which includes teams from Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, New York/New Jersey, Washington DC, Dallas, St. Louis the San Francisco Bay Area is the highest women's professional soccer league in North America. The WPS plans to expand by 2010 with teams in Atlanta and Philadelphia.

Nancy was the number eleven draft pick in the nation's general draft chosen to play Defender for the Boston team. She played in the former women's professional soccer league for the Atlanta Beat. Nancy is also a Doce Vida Fitness Ambassador!
